UPCOMING PUBLIC MEETING

Reclamation will be conducting a special evening public meeting regarding upcoming Navajo Dam spring operations.

This is a special meeting geared towards discussion of this year’s proposed Spring Peak Release. The agenda will include a forecast of 2017 release plans, a discussion of flood risk management and safe channel capacity, the nature of sedimentation and bank erosion in the San Juan River Basin, and floodplain risk issues. There will be opportunities for questions, comments, and discussion with the public during the meeting.

This meeting will be held at the Farmington Civic Center, 200 West Arrington, in Farmington, New Mexico on Wednesday, April 5th at 6pm. If you have any suggestions for the agenda or have questions about the meeting, please call Susan Behery at 970-385-6560.
