What is a dead chicken? I can't find any pictures or recipies online. See it alot in the fishing reports, and seems to be a good dry fly. Is it a decent indicator fly for an emerger dropper?

it's a #10 or #12 griffiths gnat and yes it works as an indicator dry.
I've seen them tied w/ red hackle fiber tails also.

It's suppose to mimick a cluster of adult midges. When you think of a single being lets say a size 26, that's a lot of midges. Hard for a fish to refuse.

Hi Midge. Sent a PM. I hope I didn't mess it up. I'm pretty new to this computer messaging stuff.
